Swimming
Newquay has two excellent swimming facilities available, one by the Zoo and one just on the outskirts of the town, but both with ample parking facilities.
Waterworld
Waterworld offers two pools, a 25 metre pool for some serious swimming or for those still learning, and a fantastic fun pool with water flumes, squirty things, waterfalls, little slides for little ones and bubbly things.
Oasis
Oasis is situated at Hendra Holiday Park. It is a serious fun pool with water flumes that are not for the faint hearted. There are 3 in total, the green flume where you simply go down on your back, the blue flume where you go down on a rubber ring (wicked), and the red flume which is more like a torpedo tube (awesome). Ride the River Rapid, dodge the Water Cannon and Geyser, have fun in the Fountain, Waterfall, Giant Tap and Toddler's area. Top
Tunnels Through Time Tunnels Through Time cleverly brings to life the stories and legends of Cornwall, re-creating many of the popular characters and events for which the county is so famous. Extremely realistic life-size figures, authentic costumes and carefully constructed settings all help to capture the mystery and fascination of Cornwall's exciting past. Top
Blue Reef Aquarium Walk with Sharks in this fantastic sea life aquarium. Get close up with the local marine life, sea anemonies, black tip sharks, triggerfish, stingrays, dragonets, cuttlefish, lobsters and more. Seeing is believing! Top
The Boating Lake Take a walk through Trenance Gardens to the Boating Lake. There is a lovely Cafe overlooking the lake, with different types of boats for the whole family to enjoy and mingle with the local wildlife. Top
Trenance Riding Stables These stables are situated by the beautiful Boating Lake, offering horse riding across the lovely Gannel Peninsula. They have some lovely horses and will give you all the skills you need to take hold of your trusty steed. Top

Lappa Valley Railway Board the fiftee-inch gauge steam train at Benny Halt and let Zebedee or Muffin take you on a two mile return journey through the beautiful Cornish countryside to East Wheel Rose. Golf Newquay boasts some excellent Golf Courses in it's miles of lovely countryside, for the fair weather player, novice or serious sportsman.
Newquay Golf Course Over looking Fistral Beach, this is the pride of Newquay Golfers with a superbly maintained 18 hole course. A lovely club house will serve you good food and refreshments and lessons are readily available for the novice. Temporary membership is available.
Treloy Golf Course This course is situated on the outskirts of Newquay next to the Airfield. It offers a 9 hole quality course (played twice for 18 holes), nice shop and parking area.
Holywell Bay Golf Course This is an excellent and somewhat testing 18 hole course designed as much for fun as for the sport itself, with superb scenery and coastal views and is excellent value for money as they will supply a half set of golf clubs. Top
